DSP Fails: OK for Bunny, Fails for Puli

Music director Devi Sri Prasad is definitely a ‘Rock star’. But these days, he seems to be getting too repetitive and cliched instead of experimenting with new tunes. Using his rock star image, the makers of films are wooed to make promotional songs for their films.

First time when DSP did a promo song fr Allu Arjun, it was great. Second time, it wasn’t great. Third time, currently he did a promo song for Vijay’s upcoming movie ‘Puli, which totally failed creating impact. Instead of making audiences to croon along, the promo song makes us feel bored of the repetitiveness.

It’s not going to excite even the die-hard fans of Vijay, as the promo song isn’t great in visuals or music but only for the rock star dance moves. To be frank, the song isn’t fresh and the beats don’t create any impact whatsoever expected from the promo.
