Stylish Star Allu Arjun is gearing up for a new release tomorrow. The star’s Duvvada Jagannadham will hit screens worldwide in a few hours from now. Here are the advance booking report and the expectation from opening day.

Two things are assured for DJ, and that can be said right now itself. One is the advance bookings are terrific and second is it is going to be number one opener in Allu Arjun’s career surpassing Sarrainodu. We are talking about Telugu states only as in the US it would be a touch and go scenario as far as premiere numbers go.

The opening day is sure to cross 15 Cr, and it will make Allu Arjun the fifth hero after Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR, and Chiranjeevi to achieve that. But the real question is how much higher it can go from that point. That would depend on the word of mouth and the occupancy throughout the day. Unless DJ turns out to be a disaster from the first screening, there are high chances of it going nearer to the 18 Cr.

The advantages that work in DJ’s favor are it being the first mass entertainer after Baahubali 2. It enjoys the entire price hike and hires, benefits that have come in the wake of Baahubali 2. And finally, the availability of theaters. It will be a big disappointment if Duvvada Jagannadham fails to open huge after all of the benefits mentioned above.
