Eenadu Ad: Netflix Continues Mischief With Rana Naidu

Rana Naidu is hitting the headlines for the last two days but not for good reasons. The show is being panned mainly because the audience isn’t able to digest seeing a family hero like Venkatesh doing a role that is so vulgar and abusive.

The web series which is streaming on Netflix is facing a lot of criticism for spoiling the legacy of Venkatesh who is a darling with the family audience. Some of his fans are defending that an actor should experiment with all kinds of roles, but deep down they also know that this web series is doing more harm than good to Venkatesh and his image.

Now two full-page ads have been published by Netflix about the show in today’s Eenadu newspaper. Nowhere in the ad it is mentioned that the show is not suitable for family viewing and is suitable only for adults. It is being publicized as a family show in the ad, with the caption, “Naidu Kutumbam Lo Yuddham, Chuddaniki Oorantha Siddham.”

This ad and caption are completely misleading. If families decide to watch the show based on this ad and Venkatesh’s popularity then they will be embarrassed for sure.
