Entire Telangana To Screen RRR On Jan 7th, Expected Gross

RRR is the most awaited Indian film in recent times. The stakes are exceptionally high on the Rajamouli directorial which is tipped to be the costliest project in Indian cinema. Now, here is an interesting update pertaining to the theatrical release of RRR.

When RRR hits the silver screens on the 7th of January, it will be the only film to be screened in the state all day. Meaning, every cinema hall in the state will be screening RRR on 7th January.

The permitted ticket prices at single screens and multiplexes in Hyderabad are Rs 250 and 300 respectively. At cinema halls in other districts, the ticket prices are capped at Rs 200.

So, if RRR registers 100% housefuls in all 5 shows through the course of the day, it is expected to gross around Rs 30 crores on the opening day in the Nizam region, which is unprecedented feat.

The expectations surrounding RRR are so very high that record openings all across the globe are very much on cards.
