Superstar Rajinikanth has already announced that his next would be with Viswasam director, Siva. The Sun Pictures who were behind Petta will be bankrolling this project as well. Meanwhile, Ajith is all set to start shooting for his next Valimai under the direction of H Vinoth. The first schedule will commence from December 11th.
The teams behind both the films starring Rajinikanth and Ajith has locked Diwali 2020 as the release date. Given the successful clash that happened earlier in the year, it is clear that none would back away from it unless there are unexpected delays or other factors to change its course.
The last time both the stars arrived for Diwali was a long ago. For Ajith, it was Vedalam that came back in 2015. And for Rajinikanth, we have to go more than two decades back to Muthu that released in 1995. The stat suggests both would not like to miss the Diwali date in 2020.
