Exclusive: Pooja Hegde Opts Out Of PK’s Film

It was all but confirmed that Pooja Hegde would be playing the female lead in Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar’s Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh. But the latest developments suggest that Pooja has opted out of the project.

Going into the story, Pawan Kalyan is a busy man now. He has multiple acting assignments and also political commitments to take care of. Consequently, his shooting schedules are cluttered. He is unable to allot the dates for Harish’s film, given that he has to complete Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Vinodhaya Sitham remake first.

As it stands, Pawan will not take Harish’s film onto the floors anytime soon. After understanding the situation, Pooja has apparently decided to opt out.

Pooja is concerned about the dates allocation. With no signs of the project starting anytime soon, she has decided to call it quits. Even Harish Shankar is said to be moving on to the Telugu remake of Raid. Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh has been put on the backburner now.
