F3 Avoids Biggie, But Troubles Small Ones

Well, here is another reshuffle in the release date of the most awaited family comedy entertainer F3. It has moved from its initially announced April 28th date to May 27. By doing so, F3 has avoided competing with a biggie but is now all set to clash with two smaller projects.

F3 moving from April 28 has averted the clash with Mega biggie Acharya slated to arrive on April 29th. The trade knew about the reshuffling. It was always on the cards.

What has now come as a surprise (or rather not so) is the new release date of May 27th? It is a perfect time to hit cinemas for F3, but two small films have already officially locked the date. Major and Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga have already announced the May 27th date.

So, F3 avoiding a clash with biggie has put plans of others in trouble. One of the two (or both) is now likely to change their date. It will further expand the release schedule.

F3 stars Venkatesh and Varun Tej in the lead. Anil Ravipudi helms the project, carrying tremendous expectations among the audience. The phenomenal success of F2, theatrically and on the small screen, is the reason for the buzz.

A May 27th release means it arrives right after the completion of exams in Telugu states. It makes it a true summer biggie and best shot at maximizing the box office collections.
