Fact Check: Did Vijay Deverakonda Go to the police?

We live in the social media era, where fake news spreads around the world by the time we actually figure out what the actual truth is.

A recent perfect example of this is the tweet in the picture above. This picture dates back to 2020, and this Tamil X handle posted a fake tweet using ‘Family Star,’ oddly leading several active social media users to sincerely believe it and start commenting.

This once again shows how social media operates these days. A section of social media users only seeks spice or entertainment, but they don’t care whether the picture is recent or not.

Anyone in their right mind can tell in a second, just by looking at Vijay Deverakonda’s styling in the picture, that it is an old image. But these folks don’t care; they want fun and may post some abusive comments and then move on to another topic for more entertainment.

Sadly, it is a harsh truth these days, and no one can stop this fake propaganda that circulates on social media. Since it is intentional, it becomes more disturbing for people like Vijay.
