Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur’s film “Family Star” is gearing up for U.S. premieres tomorrow and release on Friday, coinciding with Velamakucha Venkata Ramana Reddy’s first film “Dil,” which established him as “Dil Raju” today.
Dil Raju’s Wife, Tejaswini:
Dil Raju said his wife, Tejaswini, watched “Family Star,” and she is a very critical person. She loved the film. He mentioned that after watching the film, she said, “Kottesarandi.” Dil Raju stated that his wife is from the middle class, making her a perfect person to judge the film. He believes her review is credible.
Dil Raju’s Daughter, Hanshita Reddy:
He mentioned that Hanshita, Dil Raju’s daughter, called him right after the first half and said, “Vijay killed it, Daddy.” After completing the second half, she hugged him and expressed how long it had been since they watched a film like this, immediately calling Parasuram.
Two other non-family members of Dil Raju who watched “Family Star” were Vijay Deverakonda’s father, Govardhan, who said it looks like a biopic of Dil Raju and resonates with the middle class. Lastly, Vijay’s brother, Anand, got excited after watching the film and told Dil Raju that the entertainment and action worked big.
Let’s hope their judgment is accurate, and it will reflect with the audiences tomorrow.
