Fidaa Music – A Classy Treat

The music of Sekhar Kammula’s new film Fidaa is out. Shakthikanth Karthik has provided the music for the movie. The young musician has belted out a stunning album without any doubt.

There are six songs in total. Barring a song ‘Hey Mister’ almost all the songs are lovely and effortlessly appealing on the first listen itself. Many are sure to be heard by music lovers in the years to come irrespective of the fate of the film. It is this quality of the album that makes it stand out. It isn’t dependent on the success or failure of the movie. It is a classy treat with good variety in place. Of course, a big success would make them more accessible.

Sekhar Kammula continues to maintain his high standards with music. One only hopes that he has retained some of his filmmaking glory too in Fidaa as it is a very critical film for him. His last two movies have been major disappointments. Fidaa starring Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi hits screens worldwide on July 21.
