Fight Over Pan-India Stardom: Prabhas vs. Allu Arjun

This pan-India phenomenon, following Baahubali’s success, has spawned numerous new fan rivalries, both online and offline.

After Baahubali, Prabhas emerged as one of the biggest stars in the country. NTR and Ram Charan also achieved nationwide success, albeit with SS Rajamouli’s support. They are yet to test their luck on the pan-India level without Rajamouli.

Prabhas also gained pan-India stardom thanks to Rajamouli, yet he has effectively maintained his brand value nationwide even with projects not associated with Rajamouli.

Allu Arjun, on the other hand, created a nationwide sensation with Pushpa. His dialogues, mannerisms, and swag became part of pop culture. He became one of the most popular stars after this film, achieving stardom without Rajamouli’s help, which sets him apart.

Now, fans of Prabhas and Allu Arjun engage in heated debates over who is the bigger pan-India star.

Prabhas recently tasted success with Salaar, and his next project, Kalki, is eagerly anticipated. He is also set to begin shooting for Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, expected to make waves at the box office.

Allu Arjun is right now sitting on a gold mine with Pushpa 2. If the content clicks and the film lives up to the expectations, then a 1000 crore worldwide gross would be a cakewalk for Pushpa 2. After that Allu Arjun has projects lined up with Atlee and Sandeep Reddy Vanga which will further boost his pan-India stardom.

There’s no point in arguing over who is bigger at this point. Nevertheless, these fan rivalries are expected to continue for some time, much to the delight of fans of other heroes.
