Film Industry workers demand a pay raise!

One of the most important news in the film world is that there has been a demand from the workers in the film industry to increase their income. The A P Film Industry Employees Federation which includes about 13,000 workers from the entire film industry, the 24 crafts, wants a heavy rise in their earinings and according to some rules it has been stated that their ‘salary has to be revised after every three years’.

So with the end of this three-year period, a demand will be put forward by the federation for the revision of salary to the A P Film Chamber of Commerce. While the producers are usually in protest for the increase in wages, an extended conflict with them about three years ago, including the shutting down Telugu film industry for almost a month, changed it and that’s when the rule was made. This time the demand is of more than 32 percent increase in wages.
