Film Workers Cancel Strike, Shootings To Resume

For the past few days, film workers have been on a strike. They have been demanding a hike in daily wages and refused to resume shootings till their demands are met. As a result, film shoots were halted.

Cut to now, film workers have stopped the strike. Tollywood Film Chamber and Tollywood Film Federation have issued a media release on the same.

Senior producer C Kalyan said “We held a meeting, thanks to Talasani Srinivas Yadav garu. The meeting with film workers was a lengthy one. Film shootings will resume tomorrow. The coordination committee will orchestrate the hikes in daily wages after the meeting between Film Chamber and Federation tomorrow.”

Dil Raju has been appointed as the chairman of the coordination committee.

Tollywood Film Federation president Anil stated that producers approved the demand to hike daily wages and affirmed that the shootings will resume tomorrow.
