
In the recent past, Bullet song in The Warriorr and Ra Ra Reddy from Macherla Niyojakavargam went on to become hugely popular among music lovers with 100s of millions of views on YouTube, but the outdated and dull trailer cut for both the films diluted the audience interest.
These chartbuster songs might give the films some visibility through reels and other such platforms on social media, but the core movie-going audience gets excited only by powerful and exciting trailers and promotional material.
Even having chartbuster songs doesn’t work in the film’s favor to generate good openings if the content showcased in promos is weak.
The audience is expecting something new from the filmmakers and heroes, which the above-mentioned films failed to deliver. The below-par opening to both the films The Warriorr and Macherla Niyojaka Vargam is the latest testimony to this statement.
