First Look: Heroes of 250 Cr Tamil Epic Baahubali

Aiming to get international audiences for their forthcoming epic drama ‘Sangamithra‘, the makers of the movie unveiled the first look posters of the lead actors at the 70th edition of Cannes Film Festival in Paris, France.

All the three pictures of the heroine Shruti Haasan, the heroes Jayam Ravi and Arya show the actors in ancient aristocratic avatars. Though the faces of the heroes and the heroine look like the actors, the remaining body part didn’t look real. Everything, from the jewelry, costumes to the weapons they are seen sporting seem to be made up.

Nevertheless, the posters have a grand appeal and tell us that the Shruti and Jayam Ravi are going to play larger than life. So, we can expect a rich film made with a whopping budget. Hope, the makers avoid bringing in the reference of Baahubali. Their strategy already seems ‘beaten to death’ kind as they have been saying this since the first updates on the project started flowing in.
