First Response from Baahubali Team on IT Raids

Yesterday, the news that IT raids were conducted on Baahubali producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Devineni Prasad did rounds on almost all media sources. The first response to the raids came from the writer of the film.

It is Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad who had given clarity that the IT raids happened indeed. But, that didn’t in any way hamper the shooting of the sequel ‘Baahubali, The Conclusion’. When the raids were happening on Friday, team ‘Baahubali’ were shooting throughout the day.

He meant to say that the IT raids didn’t affect the magnum opus’ progress. The producers were allegedly raided for possessing old notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 denominations which were banned out Prime Minister. The raids on Baahubali producers included their offices and residences.
