Former CM’s Son Wedding Conducted Grandly, Breaking All Social Distancing Norms

Throwing caution to the wind and breaking all the security norms and precautions, the wedding of Nikhil Kumaraswamy was conducted grandly. The venue was the family farmhouse in Ramanagara.

Nikhil Kumaraswamy is the son of former Chief Minister of Karnataka, HD Kumaraswamy. He married Revathy, grandniece of former Congressman, Housing Minister M KRishnappa. The wedding was promised to be a low key affair, but over a hundred people attended it.

Keeping the current coronavirus crisis in mind, Kumaraswamy earlier assured that guests would follow all safety measures and social distancing at the wedding. He also said that it would be a low-key affair. However, the marriage broke all those norms. The visuals emerging from the event confirm the same with none showing any concern at all.

It must be noted here that Kumaraswamy, son of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, has actually planned to invite five lakh people to the marriage. Not only that the plans also involved providing food to the entire people of Ramanagara. Maybe if one keeps that in mind, the current wedding could be seen as “low-key”.
