Tharun Bhascker’s new-age entertainer Gaayapadda Simham, directed by Kasyap Sreenivas, held its pre-release event in grand fashion, with several renowned directors attending as special guests and adding extra spark to the celebrations.
Hero Nara Rohith, who graced the occasion, extended his best wishes to the entire team. “I’m doing my next film with these producers. I hope audiences watch this film in theatres and encourage the team,” he said.
Sree Vishnu assured that the movie will be a highly entertaining ride. “It’s a crisp two-hour experience. Faria has handled her part wonderfully. Maanasa did a cameo in my film, and in return, I’ve done a cameo in this one. JD Chakravarthy, I hope you keep making great films.
The reason I agreed to this cameo is Nara Rohith, as he has done cameos in my films earlier. Interestingly, I was the hero in the first film Pavan Sadineni directed, and now I’m the hero in the first film he has produced.”
JD Chakravarthy made some intriguing comments, calling Pavan Sadineni the first hero of the film. “Pavan liked the core idea and initiated the project. When a major issue arose during production, Pavan stood firmly by Kasyap and supported him. Although the team doesn’t want to reveal much about the story, I’m now disclosing that the movie revolves around a conflict between Tharun and Trump. And it’s my character that ends up suffering because of it.
Unintentionally and unknowingly, Sree Vishnu also gets pulled into this chaos. Just yesterday, we were in a situation where the film almost came to a halt; people thought it wouldn’t make it to the May 1st release. We used the Trump element so effectively that there was even pressure from the Indian Government to stall the film.
In a way, Trump has also acted in our film. Our director Kasyap has basically created a war between India and America. He has a fantastic sense of humor. They initially said Sree Vishnu’s role was just an extended cameo, but he ended up playing a lengthy part. It’s a wonderful character, and he delivered it brilliantly.”
The movie, riding on strong expectations, is all set to hit the screens on May 1st.
