Gadapa, the second song from Idupu Kayitham, focuses on the emotions and traditions associated with marriage. Launched today at an event, the song presents Telangana marriage culture, highlighting the emotions and responsibilities that accompany a bride as she begins a new chapter of her life.
The song’s lyrics and vocals play an important role in conveying its theme. Abhinaya Srinivas has penned lines that reflect different aspects of a newly married bride’s life, from love and affection to family bonds and new responsibilities. Telu Vijaya’s folk vocals complement the lyrics and convey the emotions associated with the occasion.
Rather than relying only on elaborate visuals, the song focuses on the everyday emotions associated with marriage. Suresh Bobbili’s composition reflects the traditional setting. Priyadarshi and Naga Durga portray the couple, with their interactions adding to the song’s emotional elements. Their performances present the traditions as experiences involving family relationships and personal emotions.
Idupu Kayitham is directed by Vamsi Reddy Dondapati. Produced by Bunny Vas and Thabitha Sukumar under Bunny Vas Works and Sukumar Writings, the film also features Shivajyothi (Teenmar Savithri), Sujatha (Jordar Sujatha), Chandravva, Mounika Reddy, Racha Ravi, Bithiri Sathi, Abhay Bethiganti, Mime Madhu, and others.
With its focus on Telangana culture and traditions, the film is set for a theatrical release on December 11.
