GC, Daaku, SV: Current BO Scenario After Trailers

For the 2025 Sankranti festival, three big films are confirmed for release: Game Changer (Ram Charan-Shankar), Daaku Maharaaj (Balakrishna-Bobby), and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam (Venkatesh-Anil Ravipudi).

These films are expected to dominate the festive season with their unique appeal and release schedules.

Game Changer is set to release first, giving it a major advantage with maximum theater availability and a solo run for two days. Following this, Daaku Maharaaj will hit the screens and enjoy a similar two-day advantage.

Lastly, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam will release, and while it will have slightly fewer theaters, it still holds potential for a strong opening due to its festive vibe, Venkatesh’s goodwill among family audience, and director Anil Ravipudi’s popularity.

The trailers of all three films are already out, with varying responses from audiences.

Game Changer was decent and impressed fans, showcasing Shankar’s grand vision and the film’s high budget. The trailer has increased some confidence among distributors.

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam’s trailer is fun and vibrant, perfectly capturing the festive mood. It resonated well with family audiences, though its production values are not as high as the other two films.

Daaku Maharaaj’s trailer, while intriguing, held back on revealing much content, possibly to maintain suspense, which led to a slightly muted response.

On YouTube, Game Changer has received the best response, followed by Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. Daaku Maharaaj, however, lags slightly in online buzz, but its theatrical impact might differ depending on its content.

The final box office results will depend on audience reception and the films’ quality.

Game Changer is expected to have a head start, followed by Daaku Maharaaj and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. However, all three films are likely to benefit from the festive season if their content clicks with viewers.
