Gangubai Kathiawadi Seals OTT Release Date

Bollywood star actress, Alia Bhatt‘s recent theatrical outing Gangubai Kathiawadi had a fairly decent run at the box office. The film garnered average-to-good reviews. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial has sealed its release date now.

Gangubai will be premiering on Netflix on the 26th of April. Apart from the Hindi version, the Telugu version will also be premiering on Netflix on the same day.

Gangubhai Kathiawadi is based on the life story of a social activist and a prostitute named Gangubai Harjeevandas. Her name resonated in the streets of Kamathipura, Mumbai in the 1960s.

Alia Bhatt plays the titular role in the film and ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali helmed the same. The film released in theatres on the 25th of February and roughly 2 months later, it is arriving on Netflix.
