Gautamiputra Turning Into Kanche?

Ever since Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film was announced as Gautamiputra Satakarni, tremendous expectations were created on the film. it was the whole package, director, music director and other cast and crew along with the genre that added to the excitement.

However, with each passing month the interest is reducing as one by one, wheels seems to be falling off. A big heroine was initially supposed to be part of the film but finally, Shriya was finalized. Now the music director has been replaced. Devi Sri Prasad has reportedly opted out and Kanche music director has been roped in.

Kanche was well received critically so it’s not a problem if Gautamiputra Satakarni goes on similar lines. But the real problem here is if the box office too ends similarly. Fans have high hopes based on the genre and director but the choices made so far paint a different picture altogether.
