Not under Alcohol: Director Car Met with Accident

Acclaimed director Gautham Vasudev Menon met with an accident during the early hours on Thursday morning and his car was said to be crushed beyond recognition when his car rammed into a truck on East Coast Road, Chennai.

The director was traveling to Mahabalipuram when this accident took place. However, the ace director escaped with minority inquiries. The police confirmed that the director wasn’t under the influence of alcohol when he was driving. He wasn’t speeding even. The traffic police had registered a case for further investigation.

On the professional front, Gautham Menon is directing Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiran’ and producing director Karthick Naren’s ‘Naragasooran’. Both of these projects are awaited. Chiyaan Vikram’s movie is touted to be a stylish thriller and ‘Naragasooran’ had garnered positive buzz by the virtue of the director’s debut movie.
