Director Gautham Menon and actor Suriya made up a great time whenever they worked together. The dynamic duo has together given hits like Kaakha Kaakha (Gharshana in Telugu). But the pair is on the outs for now following Suriya going over his withdrawal from Dhuruva Natchathiram. The film that went on the shelf due to several reasons seems to be the cause of the rift between the director and the actor. In fact director Gautham Menon has publicly aired out his displeasure saying that Suriya need not have issued a press statement regarding pulling out of the film project. Gautham even said that he told Suriya that he could have delivered the news personally to him.
However, Gautham seems to be moving on from the fiasco and has in fact begun working with director Lingusamy on a film that has Simbu in the lead.
