Good news for Karnataka movie lovers

Movie lovers in Karnataka state are in for some good news, if the proposal of the government is to go by. The state could soon see a decline in movie rates at multiplexes much to the joy of moviegoers.

Karnataka’s capital Bengalooru is one of the most expensive places in entire India when it comes to movie watching. At multiplexes tickets rates go as high as rupees thousand during the weekends. This has made many movie lovers stop visiting the cinemas completely thereby declining the footfalls.

Now the government is looking at making a uniform price of rupees 120. This decision is cheered by the movie federation expectedly. Let’s see how soon the price change comes into effect.
