Shocking & Shameful Failure For Rashmika

Everyone thought that Rashmika Mandanna would become the next big thing in Bollywood after the phenomenal success of Pushpa. Her dance performance in the song Saami Saami became famous with the North audience. She was expected to become as popular in the Hindi belt as in the south.

But the release of her latest film, GoodBye, has dashed all her hopes. This film was her debut film in Bollywood. Despite the presence of Amitabh Bachchan, the film didn’t even garner a decent opening. The first weekend collections of the film will be less than Rs. 3 Cr which is no less than an embarrassment.

The film is directed by Vikas Bahl who has made hits like Queen and Super 30 but even that didn’t help the cause much. On top of that, Rashmika’s performance in the film has been termed ordinary, pedestrian, and lackluster. Her south Indian accent was also not received well.

Rashmika might still get some chances in the North like Mission Majnu and Animal. She has to utilize them perfectly and avoid signing films like GoodBye, which disappear without any noise.
