Google Self-driving cars driving to pass tests!

Google had successfully tested its self-driving cars which will change the face of Transport across the globe. The corporate giant has been testing these cars and in their tests about 1.7 million miles, they say the cars have been only in 11 accidents.

The company claims that the car will possess 360-degree visibility sensors which can keep track of other vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians to a distance of nearly two football fields. Out of the 11 reported accidents, the cars have been hit from behind seven times mainly at the traffic lights. On two occasions, they were side-swiped and hit by a car rolling through a stop sign.

The company had deployed a fleet of 20-plus cars in the past six years which has covered 1.7 million miles to prove its caliber to the World. In all cases, there was only light damage and no injuries claims the company.
