Gossip: Female Director Bringing Another Biopic?

Venkatesh’s ‘Guru’ fame Sudha Kongara’s name was doing rounds in 2107 that she might be teaming up with Tamil star Suriya. However, the buzz died down, eventually. Once again, the gossip is back that the female director is going to do a biopic on GR Gopinath’s life and Suriya is going to play the title role as Gopinath.

Gopinath was a retired captain of Indian Army and later, was also the founder of Air Deccan who made the airfares affordable to the common man, even. If we take a glance at his pics when he was young and in the army, Gopinath has resemblances with Suriya and no doubt, the star hero will fit into playing the role. However, as of now, it’s just a piece of gossip and there is no official confirmation of the same.

At present, Suriya is busy completing two projects namely ‘NGK Nandha Gopalan Kumaran’ by Selvaraghavan and ‘Kaappaan’ directed by Anand. There will be clarity on Sudha Kongara’s project once Suriya completes the above-said projects. The new poster of Suriya from ‘NGK’ is driving his fans crazy and there are decent expectations on this political action thriller.
