Gossip: 100 Cr Signed for Whatever He Decides?

Certain things sound to be mere pieces for gossip that were created by some miscreants for the heck of it. Well, coming to one such gossip piece, Bollywood maker Karan Johar signed Vijay Deverakonda for Rs 100 crore and the hero had to oblige to whatever Karan decides for him.

Vijay Deverakonda‘s market hasn’t been tested yet in the northern circuit. He is neither totally ignored by the Bollywood nor has any huge craze in the North if not for being known as ‘Arjun Reddy’ star, the original of blockbuster ‘Kabir Singh’.

So far, his multi-lingual movies aka ‘Dear Comrade’ and ‘NOTA” in South languages left him with a bitter experience. So, Karan Johar signing him to pay Rs. 100 crores a year seems to be a gossip cooked with no real source to it.

However, Karan Johar is one of the producers for Vijay’s upcoming with Puri Jagannadh. Karan’s involvement is the reason why the project has turned into a pan-Indian movie. It’s yet to be seen how Vijay would woo the North audiences.
