Guntur Kaaram is the only superstar film releasing this Sankranthi season. The Mahesh Babu starrer is set for release on the 12th of this month and the stakes couldn’t have been higher.
Incidentally, there is an uncanny resemblance between Guntur Kaaram and Trivikram’s previous films Ala Vaikunthapurramulo and Agnyathavasi.
The shooting of Guntur Kaaram ended on 28th December, 2023. Incidentally, Ala Vaikunthapurramulo’s shooting was also wrapped on the same 28 December back in 2019.
As for the trailer release date. The trailer of Guntur Kaaram is to be out on 7 January 2023 which coincides with Agynathavasi’s trailer release date – 7 January 2018.
The uncanny similarities in the dates of Guntur Kaaram, AVPL, and Agynathavasi has led an interesting discussion on social media. Needless to say, AVPL was a blockbuster and Agnyathavasi was a disaster.
Fans are now speculating which sentimental date will work for Guntur Karam. Will it be AVPL or will it be Agnyathavasi? This is a funny conversation on social media. The actual verdict of the film will obviously depend on the merit of the presentation.
