Guntur Kaaram’s second-day box office performance experienced an anticipated drop; however, the collections, though lower, remain respectable. The film recorded phenomenal numbers on the first day but mixed reviews and comparisons with Agnyaathavaasi hurt the film.
Despite the setback, the movie has managed to achieve approximately 45-50% of its breakeven figure within the first two days. The two-day gross is around 95-100 crores worldwide.
The upcoming Sunday and Monday, marked as big holidays, present a crucial opportunity for the film to regain momentum. If it can show some decent growth in collections during these days, there is potential for the movie to recover a substantial portion, reaching around 65-70% of its breakeven point.
After that, Guntur Kaaram needs to take it slow and steady, making the most of the festive season in the next 10 days leading up to Republic Day. The goal is to get as close as possible to breaking even. Although hitting the initial target of a 150 crore share worldwide seems out of reach now, the best possible goal is to finish with a 100 crore share which would be a decent result.
