We have only one day left before the Thursday U.S. premieres of Sankranti movie releases. Starting from Thursday, we have festive releases every day until Saturday.
Let’s take a look at the current U.S. premiere figures as of noon on Tuesday:
Guntur Kaaram: $751K
Hanuman: $56K
Saindhav: $19K
Naa Saami Ranga: Bookings open soon.
Guntur Kaaram’s pre-release promotional event has ended, and there are two days left until the premiere. Initially, expectations were high for Mahesh-Trivikram’s combo to surpass the long-standing premiere record of Agnathavasi ($1.52 million), but it seems unlikely at this point—unless there is a sudden big jump.
Looking at the current trends, Guntur Kaaram is likely to surpass a $1 million premiere, and Hanuman may reach around $100K.
