Getting into the industry early on in her life starting with modeling, the actress faced a lot of obstacles, be it flop films, getting blamed and being labeled ‘iron leg’, less than standard pay, or facing inappropriate behavior.

She shared an incident that happened in Delhi when a man tried to poke her from the back in the middle of a crowd. Taapsee, however, taught the man a lesson when she, without “even [turning] to look at him”, clutched his finger and twisted it hard. The actress, who will next be seen in the film ‘Naam Shabana’, calls herself “more the ‘hero’” rather than a heroine.
