GVK to invest 500 Crore in Sri City

Sri City in Andhra Pradesh seem to be the focal point of attracting investors to the truncated state. The industrial city is buzzing with activity after the Pepsico plant launch and now it is said that Infrastructure major GVK group is planning to establish an integrated healthcare facility here.

The city-based diversified conglomerate will invest around Rs 500 crore into this facility which will include a hospital, medical college and research and development facility. This step will mark GVK’s foray in to the medical education sector.

The Representatives of Sri City and GVK group are already engaged in talks on the proposed world class integrated healthcare facility. Both the parties are expected to sign an MOU in the next couple of weeks.
