“Hanuman,” the blockbuster of the year, has finally made it to the OTT. While the Hindi version started streaming on Saturday on Jio Cinema, there was no clarity about when the original Telugu version would start streaming on OTT.
Zee Studios had secured digital rights for South languages, surprising viewers with a sudden release across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam platforms.
And much to the surprise of fans, Hanuman (Telugu) started streaming today on Zee5. The film is released on OTT after 66 days of its theatrical release.
Directed by Prasanth Varma, “Hanuman” featured Teja Sajja, Amritha, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, and Vijay Rai.
We have to see how “Hanu Man” unveils its magic on digital platforms. Will the digital audience give a similar positive response to the film or is there a different verdict waiting? Will it break records in the OTT realm has to be seen.
