Fauzi Climax Shock: Will Prabhas Fans Accept It?

Following the disastrous box office response and heavy trolling faced by The Raja Saab, the focus has now shifted to Prabhas’ next theatrical release, Fauzi. Since Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is expected only in 2027, the Fauzi makers are reportedly targeting either the Dussehra season or a December release this year.

Director Hanu Raghavapudi and Mythri Movie Makers are said to be working aggressively to complete the film on time.

According to strong talk from inside the unit, the climax is expected to be one of the film’s biggest strengths. Sources claim it delivers an emotional shock while also setting up a prequel in a way that creates curiosity similar to Baahubali: The Beginning. Hanu Raghavapudi is reportedly planning a second installment focused on the unexplored past and backstory of the lead character. Industry insiders also suggest the narrative includes historical figures like Subhas Chandra Bose and Adolf Hitler.

However, these reports have triggered mixed reactions. Many feel not every director can pull off an open-ended film like SS Rajamouli, where audiences are willing to wait for a second part despite an incomplete conclusion. People want Fauzi to first work as a strong standalone film instead of focusing too much on setting up a prequel that may or may not happen later.

There is also concern because Prabhas already has multiple sequels pending, including Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 and Salaar: Part 2. Fans do not want Fauzi to feel like a half-finished story made only to prepare another installment. The priority should be giving the film a satisfying and memorable ending first.

Reports suggest Prabhas has tremendous confidence in the film. There is also talk that he privately admitted mistakes were made during the handling of The Raja Saab and now believes Fauzi can restore the scale and image audiences expect from him.

Composer Vishal Chandrasekhar is said to have focused heavily on the background score, while the songs have reportedly turned out very well. Fans have repeatedly felt that Prabhas has not received a truly memorable album in recent years, and Fauzi is now expected to change that.

Fauzi reportedly avoids commercial dance duets. The romantic tracks between Prabhas and Imanvi are said to be emotional and story-driven rather than mass-oriented.

For now, fans may still have to wait a little longer before the team officially reveals its release plans.
