HanuMan’s box office run in the Hindi belt has been hinting at a super long run and the same was established with the performance of the film on its first Tuesday.
The film has collected a nett amount of Rs 2.5 crore on its first Tuesday which is 1.25X more than its opening day Hindi collection, which is Rs 2 crore nett.
With this, the film has collected Rs 17.5 crore nett in the Hindi belt till now which is a pretty decent tally for a South film that has no franchise advantage nor any familiar faces for the Hindi audience.
The film is brushing aside straight Hindi film, Merry Christmas which has Katrina Kaif in a leading role. HanuMan is leading the collections charts against Merry Christmas which has collected Rs 10.75 crore till now.
HanuMan’s mainstay is the strong collections that are being reported in the mass belts up North which will help the film in sustaining with good tallies every day for at least 3 weeks. The big question is – can HanuMan touch the Rs 100 crores nett mark? There is a long way to go for this though.
