Hanuman Hits $5M Mark: Historic Achievement!

Prasanth Varma and Teja Sajja’s years of trust and persistence in their project have not only resulted in blockbuster success but also left some unbelievable memories for the trade.

As of now, Hanuman is about to hit the $5 million mark in North America in a few hours, a feat not even a top star from Tollywood would dare to dream without having Rajamouli as the director of the project.

Stars like Mahesh, NTR, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun were able to touch the $2 and $3 million marks, but audiences embraced Hanuman even bigger than any star in this region.

If the film had received more theaters during its first weekend, it would have easily crossed $6 million by now. Due to the Sankranthi multiple-release rush, big chains like Cinemark gave very few theaters to Hanuman, limiting its potential on the first weekend. Hanuman is distributed by PrimeShow Entertainment and Nirvana Cinemas in North America.

Also, we cannot forget the fact that Hanuman achieved these massive figures with regular nominal ticket prices.

We heartily congratulate the passionate team and wish Prasanth and Teja even bigger success with their follow-up project ‘Jai Hanuman’.
