HanuMan: How Much Money Teja & Prasanth Will Make?

The Success story of HanuMan is stunning. The movie grossed more than 200 Crore already and in the USA market, it is nearing the five Million Dollar mark. The story was initially narrated to Narne Srinivasa Rao, Junior NTR’s FIL, and Prasanth Varma committed to give the first copy in 10 Crore.

Initially, they were excited but did not respond later. And then, Niranjan Reddy of Prime Show came in. The movie was initially planned for a 15 Crore budget but got scaled up to 27 Crore. Both the hero and director were so understanding and accommodating to the producer.

Back then before HanuMan, a big producer offered 1.3 Crore remuneration to Teja and gave him 30 Lakhs advance. But Teja committed to HanuMan for a very small amount just to help the producer invest money more than the existing market. Teja invested three years in this project. Even with a regular estimate of one film per year, he would have made a lot of money.

Even before HanuMan’s release, Teja’s market was around 2.5 Crore and will go further after this success.

Prasanth Varma had a stake in the project initially but he gave it away to the producer midway through the film after the budget shot up. He just asked to pay if the movie gets exceptional profits.

As of today, the producer has not initiated any talks with both of them.

There is no reason the producer will deny their fair share because any producer who gets a big hit will always try to continue the good relationship. Moreover, Jai Hanuman is also in the offing. It will be interesting to see how much the hero and the director will make from the film.
