Allari Naresh, the once minimum guarantee comedy hero, seems to have lost his midas touch considering that a string of his films sank without any trace at the box-office. Now that he is being criticized for over the top and double entendre films, he is in pursuit of proving his mettle with Bandipotu. After a series of duds, Naresh has decided to choose scripts that will have space for another hero such that the film’s fate at the box-office would be promising.

It is being said that Naresh had roped in Sampoornesh Babu in Bandipotu only to grab attention and garner good openings to score a hit. He is hoping that Sampoo’s craze would give him a much needed hit and revive his fortunes at the ticket window. Directed by Indraganti Mohana Krishna, Bandipotu will see Sampoornesh in a significant role and those who have watched the trailer are of the impression that the Hrudaya Kaleyam star is the protagonist of the movie. Wish Naresh would prove his critics wrong and puts an end to his bumpy ride now.
