Heavy blow on Superstar for 2 days offence

Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt’s furlough issue has taken a new turn presently for spending two days extra after the completion of furlough granted to him by Yerawada Jail officials as per the rules. Sanjay Dutt was on a 14 days furlough recently in January 2015 and as the date of his furlough approached nearer he asked for an extension of the furlough.

As there was no reply from the officials because of lack of coordination, by the advice of his legal advisor the actor chose not to return to Prison and wait till a decision was taken on the extension. He stayed away for two days more than the time granted to him and when he was denied extension he returned to Prison.

But that meant he spent two days extra outside jail against the orders. So a probe has been taken up on the actor and declared that he was found transgressing the rules and hence has to undergo the procedure that would be taken up on him. According to sources, for every one day extra day spent outside, any prisoner would lose 5 days of his future furlough. That means, Sanjay Dutt would have to lose 10 days furlough for two days of transgressing the rules.
