Here’s The Next Big Release on Indian OTT

Now that Covid cases are growing, the theaters in several states are slowly getting closed. If the cases continue to rise, there will also be scope for one more lockdown in multiple states which have high cases.

This will once again go in favor of OTT platforms as multiple films will be released online. Now, Pushpa is streaming live on Amazon and all those who did not see the film on the big screen are enjoying it on Amazon.

In this process, the next big film to watch out for is Ranveer Singh’s 83 that is now playing in theaters. The Kapil Dev biopic will be out in February on Netflix and Disney Hotstar in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam & Kannada. Apart from this film, there is no big Hindi or Telugu release that will be out on these streaming platforms.

The film is nearing its 100 crore mark and needs more than 50 crores to be in the safe zone. So much money has been pumped on this film and as the makers got one more solid deal, they have sold the film on OTT.

83 is directed by Kabir Khan and showcased how the Indian cricket team, who were considered underdogs won the 1983 cricket world defeating champions West Indies.
