Hero Rejected Bail, Back in Jail

Malayalam actor Dileep who worked in 130 films is now under police custody and he will remain in their custody until 25th July. The court rejected the bail plea submitted by the actor’s lawyer.

Dileep was alleged with abduction and sexual assault of an actress with whom he had worked in many films. It is said that he wanted to blackmail the actress using the video footage of the sexual assault filmed by his aide Pulsar Suri who was the prime witness in this case.

Dileep seems to have personal grudges against the actress and hence planned this abduction. After hearing the arguments of the prosecution and also the counter arguments of the lawyer who appeared to defend the actor, the court rejected the bail plea. The prosecution argued that the actor might erase the evidence if he gets bail.
