Hero Lost 27 Kilos During The Lockdown

Tamil hero Simbu has got a superb response in Telugu for his Manmadha many years ago. But bad planning and controversies meant he has struggled for many years in Tamil and also lost all his market in Telugu film industry.

The actor now claims to have transformed himself. “I have changed myself physically, mentally and spiritually. I gained weight for for film but due to the bad phase, I ignored it and became very heavier. Corona gave me time to work on myself and I lost 27 Kilos now. I am now doing films honestly,” he said in an interview with M9.news.

His next film, Maanadu is going to release in Telugu as Loop. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the movie is a political thriller which happens in one day. It will have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil. “Going forward every film of mine will release in Telugu as well,” Simbu revealed.

After this film, Simbu will be seen in a film which will be directed by Gautham Menon. Simbu and Gautham Menon previously delivered a Blockbuster like Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (Yem Maaya Chesave in Telugu).
