High Court seeks status report on Jagan’s cases!

A divisional bench of Hyderabad high court on Monday had directed the CBI to submit a status report on all the pending disproportionate cases on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Center’s Premiere investigating agency was given one week time to give the report.

The court also sought any other cases pending against other pubic representatives involved in graft cases. This verdict is given on a petition that CBI is very slow in prosecuting cases against sitting MLAs and MPs slowly and enabling the accused to prolong the process of justice delivery.

The petitioner requested the court to direct the investigating agencies to conduct the prosecution expeditiously in the cases registered against sitting MLAs and MPs under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 pending disposal of the petition.
