The Malayalam thriller Kishkindha Kaandam is set for its OTT release on Disney Plus Hotstar starting tonight, November 19. The film will be available in multiple languages: Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
Since its theatrical release, the film has created a big buzz on social media. Critics and movie lovers who have seen it are all praising it highly. No Indian film has received as much positive reception in recent times.
This praise has raised expectations, and many movie fans are eager to watch it as soon as it’s available online. The movie is expected to attract a lot of pan-Indian attention once it starts streaming on OTT.
The film directed by Dinjith Ayyathan stars Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali. Written by cinematographer Bahul Ramesh, the story revolves around a father-son duo and a woman who becomes the son’s second wife.
The movie is full of mystery, and viewers can expect to be kept on the edge of their seats until the very end.
The real question now is whether the OTT audience will enjoy the film as much as the theatrical audience did. It remains to be seen if the movie will live up to its high expectations or if it was just overhyped.
