Hindi BO: Adipurush Downfall Continues

Prabhas’s Adipurush was intially expected to get benefitted by the Hindutva wave up north. But the exact opposite has happened now.

Adipurush is riddling in controversies and backlashes in the Northern belt. A large section of the Hindu community has been claiming that the film distorts the holy Ramayan. This is seen in the box office fate of the film.

After a superb start at the box office, Adipurush is sinking quicker than the Titanic at the Northern box office.

The film had Rs 105 crore nett opening weekend at the Northern box office. And what followed is a huge drop. The film collected a negligible Rs 3 crore nett on Wednesday which is an alarming number.

At this rate, the film might only falter further in the next few days. It has collected Rs 120 crore till now but the issue is that it added only Rs 15 crore nett in the last 3 days after adding an impressive Rs 105 crore in the first three days.

As things stand, the downfall continues for Adipurush and things are looking bleak for the film in the Hindi belt.
