Hotstar Forced To Release The Trailer Of Most-Awaited Web Series

Special Ops starring Kay Kay Menon is one of the most popular web series in India. The espionage thriller web series which was released last year on Disney+ Hotstar is a big hit and the OTT platform has come up with another season of the web series called ‘Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story’.

The trailer of the web series is slated to release tomorrow. But then, a thirty seconds trailer of the movie has surfaced on Whatsapp and social media. The leaked trailer is going viral on social media and the #SpecialOpsLeak hashtag is trending on Twitter.

But on the face of it and going by the tweets under that hashtags, people suspect that Hotstar has intentionally leaked the trailer as a way of promoting buzz for the web series. But then, Hotstar advanced the trailer release and released it in advance today.

Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story is said to be a limited series with just three episodes. The web series will premiere on November 12th. Watch the trailer here:
