How Can Britney Help Chiranjeevi?

Chiranjeevi is currently busy with Godfather, the Telugu remake of Lucifer. For the unversed, there are rumors that Bollywood star Salman Khan is playing a pivotal role in the film. Now, a crazy speculation pertaining to Godfather is going viral on social media.

As per reports, Thaman, who is composing the music for Godfather plans to rope in English pop sensation Britney Spears to croon a special song in the audio album.

There is no denying the fact that Britney Spears is one of the most followed singers in the world for many years now. But from the financial standpoint, her inclusion makes very little sense.

Britney might charge somewhere in the range of Rs 20-30 crores, or even higher for one single song. This is an astronomical number in every true sense. Moreover, her presence will add little to no value in the regional circuit.

The vast majority of the Telugu audience wouldn’t care if the song is crooned by Britney Spears or some other unknown singer. All they want is a good tune, paired with fitting vocals.

It would be a strange move from the makers of the Chiranjeevi starrer if they actually spend as much money on one single song. Several sequences in the film can be shot with that budget.

Well, it appears to be that the makers of Godfather are finding innovative ways to waste money.
