How Much Did Amazon Prime Pay For Pushpa?

Earlier, Amazon Prime Video announced that Pushpa: The Rise will be made available for streaming on the platform from 7th January. Except for the Hindi version, all the other language versions will be premiering at 8 PM on 7th January.

Now, here is an interesting update on the financial aspect of Pushpa – Amazon Prime Video deal.

We are hearing that Amazon Prime paid a fancy amount of Rs 22 crores for the post theatrical digital streaming rights of Pushpa. This deal is slightly on the higher side, but that is understandable, given that Amazon Prime is giving the Allu Arjun starrer an early OTT release.

The makers insisted on delaying the OTT release of Pushpa’s Hindi version and they have gotten their way. The Hindi version is doing pretty well at the ticket counters, and hence the delayed OTT release.
